Are your ceramics food safe?

Yes, all our ceramic tableware is food safe and ready to serve your favorite dishes!

Can i put my ceramics in the oven or microwave?

Yes. Our stoneware is fired at high temperatures and is suitable for use in the microwave and oven.

To avoid thermal shock, never place hot ceramics on a cold or wet surface and avoid moving them directly from a hot environment to a cold one. When using ceramics in the oven, we recommend placing them in a cold oven and allowing them to heat up gradually.

How do I care for my ceramics?

All our tableware is dishwasher safe. However, we recommend washing your ceramics by hand whenever possible, as this helps preserve the glaze and finish for longer.

How are your ceramics made?

Our ceramics are handmade in our studio in Borgloon, Belgium. Each piece passes through my hands several times, from shaping and trimming to glazing and firing.

Because every piece is handmade, small differences in shape, size, colour and glaze are possible. These variations are part of what makes each piece unique.

Do you make custom orders?

Yes! If you have a custom idea, feel free to reach out at hello@andreafrieling.be . We’re happy to hear from you and would love to make your idea reality.

The item I would love is sold out, will there be a restock?

Some pieces are restocked regularly, while others are made in smaller or limited batches. If something you love is sold out, feel free to contact us at hello@andreafrieling.be and we'll be happy to let you know about upcoming restocks.

 

Workshops

Who can join a workshop?

Our workshops are suitable for beginners and for everyone who already have some experience with ceramics. Unless otherwise stated, no previous experience is required.

For wheel throwing workshops, we work in very small groups of maximum three participants so there is plenty of room for personal guidance.

What should I bring to a workshop?

For wheel throwing, please bring an apron and two small towels.

Everything else you need is provided in the studio.

Can I pick up my ceramics at the studio?

Yes. Once your pieces are ready, you'll receive a message by email with information about collection.

Shipping may also be possible. If you would like your ceramics shipped, please inform us during the workshop.

Can I book a private workshop?

Yes! Private workshops are possible for groups, birthdays, celebrations, team activities or simply a creative afternoon with friends.

Send an email to hello@andreafrieling.be with your preferred date, group size and type of workshop, and we'll see what we can arrange.

 

What happens if I need to cancel my workshop?

Our cancellation policy depends on the type of workshop or course. You can find the full cancellation conditions under 'cancellation policy'.

For one-off workshops, the applicable cancellation and rescheduling conditions are also clearly stated on the workshop page before booking.

 

Can I make up a missed lesson?

For multi-week courses, missed lessons cannot be made up. Because each group follows a fixed programme, we unfortunately cannot move individual lessons to another date.

 

Shipping

Do you ship internationally?

Yes, at this moment we ship to Belgium, The Netherlands, Luxemburg, Germany, France, Denmark, Austria, Spain, Portugal, Italy and United States. If your country is not listed and you would love to purchase our ceramics, please contact us at hello@andreafrieling.be and we’ll be happy to check the possibilities with you.

How much does shipping costs?

Shipping costs are calculated automatically at checkout based on the destination and the selected shipping method.

For orders shipped within Belgium, shipping is free from €98.

For shipments outside the European Union, additional customs duties, taxes or import charges may apply. These costs are the responsibility of the customer.

How can I track my order?

Once we shipped your order from the studio, you will receive an email with tracking information. If you did not receive a shipping confirmation email within 5 business days after placing you order please contact hello@andreafrieling.be

Is it possible to pick up my order at your studio?

Yes ofcourse! Choose ‘Free pick-up’ at your checkout.

Can I return my order?

Of course! If you change your mind about your order, you can return your ceramics within 14 days after receiving your package. Just make sure the pieces are returned in their original condition and packed safely. Return shipping is at your own cost.

Once your return has arrived safely at the studio, we'll refund you using the same payment method you used for your order. You can find all the details about returns and exceptions in our General Terms & Conditions.

 

Can I exchange my order?

At the moment, we are not accepting any exchanges. If you would like to order something else, we encourage you to place a new order on our webshop and return the previous order for a refund. Please note that the shipping costs to return the item are for the customer.

How long does it take for my order to be shipped?

Orders are shipped within 5 working days. Once we shipped your order from the studio, you will receive an email with tracking information. If you did not receive a shipping confirmation email within 5 business days after placing you order please contact hello@andreafrieling.be
